They're Disgusting!

Discussion overheard while the kids were sweeping (and yes, these are exact words)...

Angie: There's a dead cockroach in the foyer.

Steven: Let's not sweep the cockroach.

Mommy: Yes, you need to sweep up the dead cockroach and throw it in the trash.

Kids: Okay!

Then...

Steven: Cockroaches are disgusting!

Angela: This one is on its back.

Olivia: But, if they're on their backs, they're easier to squish.

Steven: Cockroaches on their backs are disgusting.

Angela: This one's already dead - we don't have to squish it, so it doesn't matter!

Olivia: Yeah, but still...if they're on their backs their easier to deal with.

Steven: Dead cockroaches on their backs are disgusting.

Olivia: What about live cockroaches on their backs?

Steven: Live cockroaches on their backs are disgusting.

Angela: What about dead cockroaches not on their backs?

Steven: Dead cockroaches not on their backs are disgusting.

Olivia: What about live cockroaches?

Steven: Live cockroaches are REALLY disgusting!!

Do you get the impression that my three-year-old has already formed a strong opinion about cockroaches?
