Celebrating Olivia!

It's hard to believe it's been nine years.  She was so little then - she's so big now!  

The neatest thing is that even though she has grown, both in size and in personality, she is also still so much the same.  It never ceases to amaze me how God can instill into such a tiny baby all of the personality that will make that baby who she will be years in the future. 

 Watching Olivia grow over the past year has been a treasure.  Her maturity is shining through in a new way, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

She is still a dreamer...

...but her dreams are taking on more reality.  And, they are reflecting a growing love for God, His Word, and the furthering of His kingdom. 

She still loves the things she has loved throughout her childhood, but she is beginning to also be drawn to grown-up things.  While in a way it's sad, in another way it's absolutely delightful to watch. 

Olivia, sweetie, I am proud to be your mommy.  I am thankful God blessed me with you.  We are so different, and He is using our differences to teach me about Himself through another's eyes.  Happy birthday, baby girl!  We all love you!
